 | | Hello, my name is Binky
the Cockatiel. I wake
up at the crack of dawn every morning chirping my heart out
until someone lets me in and feeds me. I love to be petted, especially by Danny my co-owner. I am a female
and have been laying eggs, but I cannot seem to hatch a baby.
Maybe I need to settle down with a mate? I love to run all over the house. Cookie, the beagle
does not bother me. Just give me fresh food and water every couple of days and I am
happy.
General Care:
Cockatiels need fresh water everyday. Feed them a diet of enriched
bird seed made for cockatiels. Also, cockatiels need some fresh green
vegetables in their diet. Binky likes crusty bread also.
Clipping:
To clip their wings or not to? I keep Binky's wings moderately clipped so
she cannot fly away, but she can get around.
